Description: De Koninginnehof in Zuidwolde is an example of sustainable construction and cooperation in the supply chain. The industrial construction system in timber enabled a wide variation within a short time schedule and to gain a high GPR environmental rating required by the client.
Use was made of sustainably produced timber for the galleries, balconies and indoor and outdoor stairs. Azobé was used for the support structures and Bilinga for the decks and the steps.
